Course overview

Designed for childcare professionals who need an EYFS-recognised qualification. Covers the most common life-threatening emergencies in infants and children with realistic, scenario-based practice.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course you will be able to:

Manage an unresponsive infant or child (CPR and recovery position)
Respond to choking in infants and children
Control external bleeding and treat shock
Recognise and manage seizures
Understand the role of the paediatric first aider

Certification

Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate, valid for 3 years.

Price includes manual or handouts and registration. Minimum 4 students, maximum 12 per course.
